I'm a woman in tech and I am proud of everything I have already reached.
My name is Tatjana and my CV is everything but straight. I started out as a complete non-technical person and was educated to be a "Commercial Correspondent" - basically I always have been a "Language-Person" if you know what I mean.
Well, after a car accident, I was in hospitals etc for more than two years and concerning languages it means: You don't practice it, you lose it. This is unfortunately especially true for the Spanish.
As I wasn't able to walk/sit for quite a time there were only 2 things I could do: Watch TV and do something on my computer. And this is where I got into IT - Ich startet learning Databases (MySQL at that time), Database Theory, Webdesign etc. I really got into it and startet to like it pretty much.
But it remained a hobby as I wasn't able to work and later I didn't even think about applying to a Tech-Job But then, the wheels turned - I applied as Sales Assistant to a company named cobra and although they must have had high doubts about me being out of any job for 5 years - they gave me that chance.
I really digged myself into that CRM System, into all the technical stuff and this was awarded by giving me a position in Presales just a year or so later.
I discovered not only my love for CRM there but I also found my self confidence again. The rest is history - I built up a Team of 5 people there, managed to form the presales for the company and I really really loved my job. After 9 years, however, It startet to get somewhat boring. You could have woken me up at 3 in the morning and ask me anything about the cobra software. There wasnt much to learn anymore. This is where I started my Dynamics carreer in August 2019 - and I really love(!) all the possibilities, options and learning topics I now have.
